	Hook Tyer DRENNAN Hook Tyer Size 16 Carbon Match to 1-lb 14oz Double Strength Method: With the left thumb depress the clamp fully. At the same time increase the tension on the hook length pulling back toward to rod top. The loop of line will then slip off the wire clamp. Continue to pull back on the hook length reducing the loop and tightening it down against the shank. This main loop will trap the tail end forming it into a second loop. As you pull back this action forms the "tail end" into a loop. Undo the clamp releasing the hook from the jaws. Ensure tail end loop remains in place around peg and pull on the hook length just above the spade., The tail end will slip through the coils and complete the whipping knot. It is often difficult to learn to tie good whipping knots from diagrams (as shown on reverse of packaging of this product), so if you can get an experienced angler to demonstrate exactly how the hooktyer is used, it can save you a considerable amount of trial and error!
