Push one of the swivels through a shock bead until the eye of the swivel protrudes. Thread single strand of elastic through the centre tube of the feeder, stretch this strand very tight by holding the two ends of elastic trapped in your hand, being careful to leave one end of the elastic longer.

Thread this long end of elastic through the eye of the swivel protruding from the shock bead, then thread the line end of elastic back down the centre tube of the feeder.

Simply thread on another swivel and shock bead and knot the elastic ends together. You can set the tension dependant upon where you tie the knot.

Green pike wire is a top quality stainless steel braid with an ultra thin nylon coating. This makes it extra smooth and improves durability.

Pike rigs can be made up by the traditional twisted wire method and the twist sealed in place by melting and fusing the nylon coating over a low flame.

Alternatively, slim crimps one size up on those recommended for Drennan 7 strand can be used. For strongest joints flatten crimp in three central places avoiding either end.
