Perfect for mixed fisheries and high catch rate venues - the multi-phase peformance delivers a wide scale of ratings within one set up:

Set the tension for "power-carp-tactics" and it will perform like a No.16, retracting perfectly every time.

Hook an especially big fish or "hit and hold" and Hydrolastic will increase towards No.20+ as it is loaded.

Unlike other types Hydrolastic has a hollow construction which is filled with a high performance fluid. The elastic stretches first, then, when compressed, the internal walls close in, held apart by the fluid.

This performs as a soft-core shock absorber meaning hydrolastic still has stretch to give, resulting in a valuable "safety zone" on big fish hook holds.

7 Strand Stainless Woven into an extra smooth durable trace with a subtle camouflage coating.

Green pike wire is a top quality stainless steel braid with an ultra thin nylon coating. This makes it extra smooth and improves durability.

Pike rigs can be made up by the traditional twisted wire method and the twist sealed in place by melting and fusing the nylon coating over a low flame.

Alternatively, slim crimps one size up on those recommended for Drennan 7 strand can be used. For strongest joints flatten crimp in three central places avoiding either end.
